Changing color and little feathers!
Eyes opening and black feathers!

In the previous posts, I have shared many thoughts on using song to support an inquiry. Please, go back and check them out! As a final thought, I want to share with you my experience that in using song to support our learning, the learning sticks. Songs are magic. They invite the experience of JOY, and they invite our HEARTS into the learning. And they stay with us. In the coming days, I will create a video that is “The Robin Song” from beginning to end, so you can sing along. As you return to the song, you will find that you will return to all we learned together. And, as you are out in the land and notice Robins, I bet you will find that you think of the song, and make new connections and build on the learning we have done here over this mini-series.

Song are magic. Thank you for joining me on this adventure to uncover some of that magic. I hope you will join me on more adventures in the future! Please join my email list, if you like, or connect with me on social media, so you can keep up-to-date with more adventures to come!

  1. WORDS FROM MS.CHIAROT”S room: We hope you get to see the fledglings again! If you have another story about a ladybug or bee, could you share with us because we enjoyed this experience so much! Thank you for the certificate! Thank you for the entertainment. I hope the fledglings have a good life. If you find more eggs can you let us know? The video was awesome and it was cool to see the life cycle of the robin. It was neat to find out that baby birds have their eyes closed when they are born.

    1. Thank you for sharing these comments and questions, and thank you for being a part of the mini-video series! I’m really glad you enjoyed learning about Robins with me and the Robin family, and I’m really grateful for your participation throughout! I hope you have the opportunity to observe many Robins, fledglings, nests and eggs in the land where you live. I will definitely be keeping my eye out! And, I might just have some more songs for you in the next little while- stay tuned 🙂
